Using the archive

The Hávamál Archive is provided for reading, study, citation, and discussion. It does not replace a published edition, academic advice, or professional historical research.

Texts and quotations

Each edition remains subject to the copyright, license, and attribution shown on its edition page. Do not remove required credit from exported quotations or use noncommercial material for commercial purposes.

Accounts and community use

Do not use the site to harass others, expose private information, post unlawful material, distribute copyrighted full translations without permission, impersonate another person, or interfere with the service.

Moderation

Posts may be removed and accounts may be warned, restricted, suspended, or banned for violations of the community guidelines. Serious abuse or attempts to compromise the site may result in immediate loss of access.

Availability

Features, sources, and community areas may change or become temporarily unavailable. Saved work should not be treated as the only copy of important research or notes.
