Mál’s at þylja þular stóli á:Urþar brunni atsák ok þagþak, sák ok hugþak,hlýddak á manna mál.

‘Tis time to speak from the Sage’s Seat;hard by the Well of WeirdI saw and was silent, I saw and pondered,I listened to the speech of men.
